Avery Elle December/January Release Blog Hop

It is time for fun and inspiration with Avery Elle blog hop. You are probably still full on holiday mood and holiday craft. We have some new stamps and dies for next paper crafters' favorite occasion.  Joining us this month is Kristen Foreman.

I have a new fav die - word Love from this release.  And I am so happy to show a couple of my cards made with the die and Simply Said Love stamp set.

I stamped the borders from Air Mail set and Celebrate set, "just a note" image from Aim Mail set and the little heart from Aim High set (can you spy it?). After I decided where I want the die cut go.  I stamped "forever" from Simply Said Love set. Word Love die cut was adhered with dimensional adhesive. A little white hemp twine adds some texture.

For my second card, I used the die cut as a mask and misted with Tsukineko Fireworks in Angel pink. I also flickered some ink on the card panel before the mask was removed. Sentiment was stamped partially over the negative of misted word.  I embellished the card with some Studio Calico wood veneer, My Minds Eye enamel dot and a stripe of card stock.

Here is the complete list of the blog hop.

Loving the simply said Love Elle-ments die. The little heart from the arrow in the Aim High set
looks like a cute & decorative period at the end the sentiment. Lovely layout on the masked card.
