Papertrey Ink February Blog Hop

It is time for Papertrey Ink blog hop.  The challenge is to make an interactive card.  The movers and shapers die and the stamp set seems really fun.  But I have not place my order yet because a couple other things I want are not available.

So I traced the spellbinder circle on the card and cut out with my craft knife.  Rocket ship was connected to the tab.  The tab was fastened with a brad which hiding behind the cloud.

a couple more pictures.

Thanks for stopping by.  My baby is turning three on Monday and we will celebrate tomorrow.  This birthday card is for him.  I don't know how long the card will stay intact though.

Young Crafters Unite #7: Clear card

I had fun making a clear card tonight.

The current challange at Young Crafters unite is clear cards or cards with clear elements. It is perfect opportunity to use some Hambly screen print I hoarded. The grey lattice screen print overlay was used as the front panel of the card.  I simply layered a green card stock stripe and a mat stack die cut.  This Papertrey ink stamp fits perfectly on mat stack 5.
There is still plenty time to play Young Crafters Unite Challenge.

The colors I used is Color Q  challenge #125.

Thanks for stopping by.

On another note,  I have been pretty good with my New Year's resolution thus far  - working out more.  I have kept my routine of running, swimming and Pilate's classes.  However, there is less time for cards.  I really wish there were 48 hours a day.

Papertrey ink anniversary day 2

It is the second day of the celebration. The challenge is to create a project to include the freebie digital image. There are several images I like a lot.  I wish I have enough time to create something with each of them. I decided to use the image Maile designed and cased one of Maile's cards.

Part of the front panel was trimmed off to show the color card stock and background stamping on the card base.  It is also entered into Moxie Fab world's cutting and trimming challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.
