CAS-ual Fridays 52: Fathered Friends

I can't believe it has been more than two weeks since my last post.  It was really busy at work last couple weeks. I am also exhausted from my new workout routine (time to get ready for summer vacation).

The best way to get the mojo going is to join some challenges.  CAS-ual Fridays has a fun theme challenge - feathered friends.  After looking through my bird dies and stamps, I decided to  use this perched reed bird die. The PTI heart die was embossed on card base. Even though it is a simple card, it did take me long time to finish.

Tomorrow is my short run and Pilate's class day.  Hope I am not too tired to make a card tomorrow night.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies
cardstock: PTI rustic white, Bazzill orange zest, ocean tide
Stamp: Amuse avian note stamp set
Ink: Memento tuxedo black
Other: Memory box perched reed bird die, PTI heart die, Fiskars pinking shears, DeNami button

The simplest cards always take me the longest to finish. This was well worth the effort! So sweet with the embossed heart framing the bird.
