Bows and Berries challenge #15 and Blog Hop

Hey, everyone. It is the last challenge this year and also a blog hop for Bows and Berries.  You should come from Yvonne's blog. If not, you can start at the beginning from Bows and Berries

The current challenge is to create a paper craft using toasty gingerbread man.  I printed him out on brown, red and white cardstock, and a piece of my mind's eye patterned paper scrap.  Then I paper pieced his hat and scarf, added glitter glue and stickle.   A stripe of pattered paper was adhered to kraft card base and stitched with zig-zag stitches.  Sentiment are Sticker-z from EAD Designs.

Please hop along and leave a comment at all blogs to be eligible to win two digis of your choice from individual blogs.  If you create any paper crafts with the free digis at the shop and link it up on Bows and Berries, you will be eligible to win the grand prize of 10 digis, or one of the other prizes of 2 digis from the shop.  You have until Dec. 11th at midnight GMT to comment and play along.

Robin also has a coupon for 50% off everything in the shop for this period using the code GIFT50.

Your next stop is Janet, I know she will have something awesome for you.

PTI November Blog Hop

It is time for another Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.  I am glad I got some time to make a card for the hop. And it is also Black Friday.  I am going to the Impress Rubber Stamp store's black Friday sale.  I also heard from Amy Tsuruta that a Hobby Lobby just openned north of Seattle.  I may check it out too.

The inspiration picture for this month is a corner of a beautifully decorated house.

I took inspiration from the present wrapping paper and the hollies.
Poinsettia was stamped repeatedly on red cardstock and then cut into stripes.  Hollies die cut were used to frame the sentiment.  Some red rhinestone stickers were added to finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Supplies:
cardstock: PTI cardstock,

Carbon Copied

I am really excited about today's post.  I am playing Carbon Copied with Karen B. from The Bald Dragonfly.  Karen makes amazing cards with graphic design, texture, and gorgeous misting.  I also enjoy reading her writing, she always has something interesting with her projects, it can be a story or a poem.

We are teaming up to play the current Embellish Leaves Color Trends Challenge.

Both of us are using the PTI modern basic.  I used created a flower with leaves using the modern basic.

Please hop over Karen's blog to see what she has done.  I know it will be amazing.

Happy Thanksgiving

A quick card for Less is more week 41 one layer challenge with leaves.  I used rock and roll technique to stamp the leafy branch for a fall foliage look.  Then a button, a little rustic twine and two stripes of orange cardstock were added to finish the card.

It also fits current challenge at Simon Says Stamp: Thanksgiving.

Embellish Leaves Color Trends Challenge

I got some time to make a card for the current challenge at Embellish blog tonight.  Three leaves were cut out from PTI Ripe Avocado, SJewel, and kraft.  The edge of the kraft leaf was distressed with Ranger Vintage photo.  Three leaves were arranged on a stripe of burlap that adhered on rustic white cardstock.  A dark blue button and some rustic twine were added to finish the card.  The sentiment is from Amuse.

Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge

The inspiration picture of current Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge is an Orla Kiely scarf.  I love Orla Keily designs.  I even have a folder at Pinterest dedicated to Orla Kiely designs.  For my card,  I was inspired by the color and repeating pattern.  I used a small stamp from Sunny Side up to recreate the Orla Kiely pattern. It is a simple looking card with a lot aligning, stamping and coloring.
