Our anniversary was a few days ago. I got a surprise present and a poem (I requested the later) from my hubby. But I did not get to make a card for DH until last night. Bad, bad. He is not a CAS type, so I decided to try something new. I love all the ideas of adding texture to the cards from
Moxie Fab World Textured to Perfection and decided to give it a try.
I broke into the sticky back canvas I got awhile ago. Roses were stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with detail white embossing powder. Then I distressed the canvas with Spun sugar, worn lipstick, and wild honey. I also distressed patterned paper panel and the banner for sentiment with vintage photo. That was a ton of distress ink for me. Well, the card was definitely not masculine enough. But I do like the card and the process of making it, and my DH loved it.
Love the ideas from
Moxie Fab World Textured to Perfection and hope to try a different technique before the challenge ends.
Thanks for stopping by.
