Avery Elle: Storybook

Happy Tuesday. I have two cards made with Avery Elle new release Storybook clear stamp and matching die set. This super cute set is designed and hand drew by talented Heather Campbell. It is a set full of cute little critters and other images like shooting stars, birds (with matching die!) to make cute scenes.

I stamped brush stroke on the white card stock as sky and to ground the little bunny on the first card.

I used the deer image on the second card.  Did you see these cute butterflies? They also have matching dies? The hill was created with the Edge it die.

Hope you will like it, thanks for stopping by,

Avery Elle: Wood Grain and More

Happy Tuesday. I have two cards made with Avery Elle new release Wood Grain and More clear stamp set.

The background was stamp in Delicata gold on Speckled card stock on the first card.  The texture of the stamp image and the simple gold and black combo is perfect for a modern father's day card. Sentiment is from The man set.

The woodgrain was stamped in Avery Elle white ink on Avery Elle Orchid card stock for the second card.
I was thinking about doing velvet stamping and then changed my mind to use a soft pink card stock for the background color. You can see the soft texture on the stamped floral images. Love that. I combined several set for the second card: flowers from Thanks a bunch set, 'Thank you' from Bottle it up set, and Mom from Needle little love set.

Avery Elle April/May Release Blog Hop

It is time for fun and inspiration with Avery Elle blog hop. There are eight stamp sets and five die cut sets. Today I have a few projects using the urber trendy Brushed clear stamp set.

For my first card, I stamped the longest brush stroke on card front in Avery Elle pigment ink Mint to be, Orchid and Delicata gold ink. The sentiment was stamped on vellum die cut. A few gold sequins are the perfect embellishement.

For me second card, I brushed Tombow dual tip marker on the longest stamp, misted it with mini mister then stamp it on card front. I used two shades of the same color for most stripes.

Next up are three project life journaling cards I stamped with the stamp set. I started my project life this year and document the special events and occasions.  I would love to do it weekly, but it is just not realistic for me right now.

Here is the complete list of the blog hop. Your next stop is the fabulous Brenda Weaver.
